Sree Vishnu and Satya-starrer Comrade Kalyan is gradually gaining momentum at the box office, with collections showing steady improvement compared to its opening days. The absence of major releases has worked in the film’s favour, while encouraging ticket sales in Hyderabad have offered relief to the makers. Despite receiving a mixed response from audiences, the film has reportedly collected over ₹13 crore so far and continues its theatrical run. Trade circles believe that the movie has the potential to add more to its total collections in the coming days.
The Dasara holiday season is expected to provide an additional boost to Comrade Kalyan. The postponement of Adarsha Kutumbam AK 47 and the limited impact of Hanuman Ansh have reduced competition, giving the film a favourable window to improve its collections until October 14. However, Jailer 2, Ranabaali and Garividi Lakshmi are scheduled to arrive in theatres from October 15, potentially intensifying competition for screens and audiences. The film’s performance during the next few days will therefore be crucial in determining how much further it can grow at the box office.
