Director and producer Madhura Sreedhar Reddy has responded to recent comments made by filmmakers at various film events, where concerns about difficulties in the industry were frequently highlighted. He stated that cinema is a powerful medium and should not be turned into a platform for expressing suffering. According to him, every industry involves risks, pressure, and challenges that are known in advance.
He further said that cinema is a business, not charity, and those entering the field should be prepared for both profits and losses. If one is unable to handle setbacks, they should consider stepping away from filmmaking. He emphasized that personal or company related issues should not be projected onto film projects, and encouraged sincere filmmaking, noting that every good film finds its place with audiences.
