He is now gearing up for his upcoming crime thriller Athimanoharam, directed by Tharun Moorthy and produced by Ashiq Usman on a grand scale.

In the film, Mohanlal plays a police officer named “Lovlajan,” while Meera Jasmine appears as his wife “Naisi.” The movie, written by Ratheesh Ravi, reunites several technicians from Thudarum, with music composed by Jakes Bejoy. The makers have officially announced a Christmas release on December 24, 2026, along with a powerful poster hinting at a family-emotional crime story.
