To express their gratitude for the department's resolute efforts to combat movie piracy, Tollywood icons Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna met with Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar in person. Inmadi Ravi, the creator of the infamous piracy website iBomma, which has posed a serious threat to the film industry for years, was arrested shortly after their visit.
Chiranjeevi referred to Ravi as "a dangerous person who caused severe damage to cinema and encouraged illegal viewing," and he commended the police for their prompt action in breaking up the piracy network. The entire Telugu and Indian film industry is grateful to Sajjanar and his team, and Nagarjuna thanked the police for apprehending the culprit so quickly.
Both celebrities stressed that in order to effectively combat piracy, people must only watch movies in theaters. They emphasized that strong measures like this will safeguard thousands of livelihoods that depend on the film industry and called on the public to support it legally.
