Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is currently gearing up for ‘Vrushakarma’ and ‘Dhootha 2’, the sequel to his popular OTT thriller series. In a recent interview, the actor opened up about career pressure, success and failures. He said he has gained maturity over the years and that seeing the struggles faced by newcomers in the film industry has made him realise the responsibility that comes with his position. While failures can be disappointing, he has learned to accept both success and setbacks equally. He added that he now tries to turn professional pressure into positive energy.
Talking about his upcoming projects, Chaitanya revealed that ‘Dhootha 2’ will continue in the horror-thriller genre, but its story will revolve around the medical world rather than journalism. He also said that only around 10 days of shooting remain for the big-budget ‘Vrushakarma’, which features visual effects unlike anything he has attempted before. Discussing the pan-India trend, Chaitanya stressed the importance of staying rooted in Indian culture and telling regional stories authentically. According to him, presenting local stories honestly and marketing them effectively is the true essence of pan-India cinema.
