Jubilee Hills police have registered a case against a YouTube channel for allegedly spreading false information and viral videos regarding Megastar Chiranjeevi’s health. According to police sources, the channel was reportedly circulating misleading videos and edited images that could damage the actor’s reputation. A lawyer named Ramakrishna Miryala from Kamalapuri Colony, Hyderabad, filed a complaint at the Jubilee Hills police station, stating that objectionable content related to Chiranjeevi’s health was being widely shared on social media platforms.
The complainant submitted video links and screenshots as evidence, alleging that spreading such false news about celebrities’ personal lives, especially their health, is illegal. Following the complaint, police conducted a preliminary review and, after obtaining court permission, registered a case against the operators of the YouTube channel. Investigations are currently underway to identify those responsible behind the misinformation campaign.
