

A new biopic titled Maa Vande has been officially announced, based on the inspiring life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Directed by Kranthi Kumar CH, the film carries the tagline The Anthem of a Mother and explores Modi’s journey from his humble childhood to becoming the leader of the nation. The story focuses deeply on the emotional bond between Modi and his mother, Heeraben, who played a pivotal role in shaping his values and determination. Malayalam star Unni Mukundan will play the role of Modi, while Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon portrays his mother Heeraben.
The film is being produced by Veer Reddy under the Silver Cast Creations banner as a big-budget pan-India project. With top technicians like K.K. Senthil Kumar handling cinematography, Ravi Basrur composing the music, and Sreekar Prasad managing editing, Maa Vande promises grandeur and emotional depth. Unni Mukundan expressed his honour in playing Modi, saying he grew up in Ahmedabad when Modi was Chief Minister. The movie aims to present “the man beyond the statesman,” highlighting the mother-son relationship that inspired one of India’s most remarkable leaders.
