Prominent Tollywood producers held a key meeting with Pawan Kalyan in Rajamahendravaram, sparking widespread discussion within the film industry. The interaction reportedly focused on the future of the Telugu film sector and the kind of support the Andhra Pradesh government could extend to boost its growth. Producers are said to have had detailed discussions on expanding the industry’s footprint and strengthening its infrastructure.
Notable attendees included Ravi Shankar, Naga Vamsi, Sahu Garapati, Kilaaru Venkata Satish, and Cherukuri Sudhakar. With Telugu cinema expanding beyond the pan-India level toward global recognition, producers emphasized the need for better infrastructure such as studios, post-production facilities, and modern theaters in cities like Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Tirupati. They also raised concerns over rising production costs and financial pressures. Pawan Kalyan reportedly responded positively, indicating that the government is considering measures to support the industry, raising expectations of key policy decisions soon.
