Big Films, Bigger Pressure - Can Thaman Bounce Back?

With his songs going viral and his background music making a big impression, Thaman once experienced a huge surge in popularity. Even recently, Pawan Kalyan's fans praised his work for OG, citing his music as a key factor in the movie's success.

But Thaman has also come under fire for producing chart-topping films primarily for a selected group of celebrities, such as Pawan Kalyan and Nandamuri Balakrishna. His songs from Ram Charan's Game Changer were heavily trolled and didn't do well in movies like Telusu Kada.

Remarkably, not even Balakrishna has been enchanted by Thaman this time. With the exception of sponsored promotions, "Jajikaya" from Akhanda 2 is having trouble gaining popularity because many listeners believe it lacks a compelling hook. Similarly, both Balayya and Prabhas fans are disappointed that the recently released "Rebel Song," the first single from The Raja Saab, hasn't been able to match the viral energy of "Chikiri Chikiri" or OG's title track. Thaman is currently at a pivotal point in his career as both movies get ready for release.
