Almost a year ahead of their release, the makers of Ram Charan’s Peddi and Nani’s The Paradise had locked March 2026 as their target. Both films were initially slated for the same week — The Paradise on March 26 and Peddi on March 27. With two major releases so close, one might need to shift to avoid a box-office clash.
Director Buchi Babu Sana, who debuted with the 2021 hit Uppena, is now working on his second venture, Peddi. This sports drama is set in the Uttarandhra region and stars Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Shiv Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, and others. The shooting is progressing steadily, with around 60% completed. The first half edit is already locked, keeping the March 27 release on track.
Meanwhile, The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, who gave us the 2023 hit Dasara, reunites him with Nani. This period-rooted action drama is set in Secunderabad and features Nani, Kayadu Lohar, Raghav Juyal, Sonali Kulkarni, and others.
However, the The Paradise team faced delays in starting the shoot, and progress has been slower than expected. This makes it challenging for them to meet the March 26 deadline, making a postponement highly likely.
If both films finish on schedule, one will still need to adjust its release for a smoother box-office run. At present, it seems The Paradise is more likely to push its date to avoid clashing with Peddi.
