A controversy has arisen in the Telugu film industry after Baby director Sai Rajesh strongly reacted against journalist Murthy. He accused Murthy of using personal grudges against films and expressing them on social media. This issue has now drawn the attention of the Telugu Film Journalists Association (TFJA).
The Telugu Film Directors Association also responded by sending a letter supporting action against the journalist. They stated that while they respect TFJA, some individuals are misusing journalism for personal benefit. They pointed out that Murthy had earlier been suspended but was later allowed back, which led to further problems for members in the film industry.
Sai Rajesh requested TFJA to take strict action and impose a permanent ban instead of a temporary suspension. He believes that such a step will protect the values of journalism and maintain the reputation of the industry. The issue has now become a topic of discussion among film circles.
