An interesting incident highlighting the global impact of the ‘Baahubali’ franchise has been revealed in Netflix’s documentary ‘Baahubali: The Torch Bearer’. Actor Prabhas shared that during the shooting of ‘Baahubali 2’, director Puri Jagannadh visited a hospital in Bangkok for treatment. As soon as the hospital staff learned that he was from India, they immediately asked him about ‘Baahubali’, showcasing the film’s remarkable international popularity.
Prabhas said Puri Jagannadh showed the hospital staff a photograph with him and mentioned that they were close friends. After seeing the picture, the staff reportedly arranged immediate treatment in a special room without making him wait. Puri later shared the experience with Prabhas through a voice message, leaving Prabhas, SS Rajamouli, and producer Shobu Yarlagadda amazed. The documentary has also fueled speculation about ‘Baahubali 3’, while Prabhas continues to work on major projects including ‘Fauji’, ‘Spirit’, and the sequel to ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
