Awarapan 2 Storms the Box Office

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi’s latest film Awarapan 2 is maintaining a strong momentum at the box office. The action thriller, directed by Nitin Kakkar, has crossed the ₹150 crore mark in worldwide gross collections within just six days of its release. Disha Patani plays the female lead, while Shabana Azmi and Shriya Saran appear in key roles.

Although the film witnessed a 30 per cent dip in collections on Wednesday, its overall box-office performance remained steady. Awarapan 2 earned ₹6.75 crore net in India on the day, taking its total domestic net collection to ₹107.50 crore. Its India gross stands at ₹128.29 crore, while the overseas market has contributed ₹25.30 crore. With worldwide gross collections reaching ₹153.59 crore, the film appears to be on track for a potentially bigger milestone. If the current momentum continues, crossing ₹200 crore could be within reach. The film has also emerged as the biggest opener of Emraan Hashmi’s career.
