I am very happy to make my Telugu debut with Champion, says actress Anaswara Rajan

Actress Anaswara Rajan expressed her happiness about making her Telugu debut with ‘Champion’, produced by the prestigious Swapna Cinema banner. Set for a worldwide release on December 25, the film stars Roshan in the lead role, with Anaswara playing Chandrakala—a character she believes will remain memorable throughout her career. Despite not being fluent in Telugu, she credited director Pradeep Advaitham and the entire team for their constant support, which helped her deliver the dialogues effectively. She also shared her admiration for Telugu audiences and their warm encouragement.

Anaswara described Champion as an emotionally powerful film with all the essential elements of a good cinematic experience. She highlighted the period backdrop, vintage costumes, and Mickey J Meyer’s soulful music as major strengths of the film. The positive response to the song “Giragira” delighted her, and she praised Roshan as a supportive and talented co-star. Calling the trailer launch by Ram Charan a proud moment, Anaswara said she is excited to continue working in Telugu cinema and looks forward to more meaningful roles.
