'Anaganaga Oka Raju’ Promises a Complete Sankranthi Entertainer - Producer Naga Vamsi!

The upcoming Telugu film Anaganaga Oka Raju is gearing up for a grand Sankranthi release amid high expectations. Headlined by star entertainer Naveen Polishetty, the film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with Srikara Studios presenting it. Directed by debutant Maari, the film stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead, with music composed by Mickey J Meyer. Slated for theatrical release on January 14, 2026, the recently released trailer has significantly boosted expectations.

Speaking at the pre-release press meet, Naveen Polishetty said the film captures the true spirit of Sankranthi, offering stress-free entertainment filled with laughter and warmth. He expressed confidence that the audience response to the trailer and strong advance bookings - especially overseas pre-sales surpassing his previous films’ openings - reflect the film’s festive appeal. Producer Naga Vamsi added that the story, set against a Godavari backdrop, blends comedy, emotion, songs, action and a subtle political satire, making it a wholesome family entertainer. Director Maari echoed the sentiment, calling it a clean festival film meant to be enjoyed with family, while Meenakshi Chaudhary and child actor Revanth invited audiences to celebrate Sankranthi with smiles at the theatres.
