Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations have been taking place across the Telugu states over the past two weeks, bringing festive cheer to people of all age groups. However, the noise levels during the celebrations have also caused inconvenience to some residents. Recently, Renu Desai, former wife of Pawan Kalyan, raised concerns over late-night immersions and suggested that they could be completed by 6–7 pm. Now, actor Allu Sirish, brother of Allu Arjun, has also complained about noise pollution during the festivities. He has approached the Hyderabad police seeking action over the issue.
Sirish said he resides at Aparna One Apartments in Shaikpet and alleged that loud music was being played at the Hanuman Temple in Vinobhanagar until late at night, causing inconvenience to local residents. According to him, the noise continued until around 2–3 am. He said he had previously lodged a complaint at the Filmnagar Police Station and was asked to cooperate until September 25 in view of the Ganesh immersion. However, he said the noise pollution had continued even after the immersion. Sirish stated that elderly residents, children and working professionals in the apartment were facing considerable inconvenience due to the late-night noise. He urged the Hyderabad City Police to examine the noise pollution regulations and take appropriate action to prevent such disturbances during night hours. Sirish made his acting debut with Gouravam and later appeared in several films, including Srirastu Subhamastu. He was last seen in Buddy and married Nayanika Reddy in March this year.
