Allu Arjun’s Raaka Set for Massive Action Sequences

Allu Arjun’s upcoming collaboration with director Atlee, reportedly titled Raaka, continues to generate strong buzz among fans. The film is currently being shot in Mumbai, with the team said to be working on an important schedule.

After completing the Mumbai schedule, the makers are reportedly planning to shoot several crucial sequences on a specially constructed grand set at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The interval sequence is expected to be one of the major portions filmed there, along with several large-scale action scenes featuring Allu Arjun.

The project is said to revolve around a mafia backdrop and the story of a powerful don. Deepika Padukone, Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor are also expected to play key roles.

Produced by Sun Pictures, the film marks Allu Arjun’s first collaboration with Atlee. With the combination of a pan-India star, a popular filmmaker and an action-oriented storyline, expectations surrounding the project continue to grow. An official release date is yet to be announced.
