Allari Naresh Returns to His Comedy Roots with ‘Rambha Oorvasi Menaka’

Allari Naresh is making a return to his trademark comedy zone with the upcoming fantasy entertainer ‘Rambha Oorvasi Menaka’. The film, which is scheduled to hit theatres on September 4, has already generated interest with its promotional material, while the recently released teaser offers a glimpse into its quirky fantasy-driven storyline.

According to the teaser, a magical book is said to hold the key to opening a gateway to Indralokam and bringing the celestial apsaras Rambha, Urvashi and Menaka to Earth. Believing in the possibility, Allari Naresh’s character spends 25 years trying to make it happen. When the three apsaras finally arrive on Earth, his life takes an unexpected and chaotic turn. Set against a rural backdrop, the film appears to blend mythology, fantasy and situational comedy. Vennela Kishore plays Indra, while Surabhi, Raashi Singh, Vishnupriya and Prisha Singh are part of the cast. Directed by Chandra Mohan Chintada, the film is produced by Razesh Danda and Nimmakayala Prasad under Hasya Movies and Annapurna Studios.
