Ali Apologizes

Actor Ali has issued an apology following the controversy surrounding a soap advertisement. Hindu groups strongly objected to the portrayal of performing Lakshmi Pooja for a soap and demanded the immediate removal of the ad. They also called for a ban on Ali from the film industry. As the controversy escalated, Ali responded promptly and removed the advertisement.

Explaining his stance, Ali stated that the concept was inspired by a scene from his earlier film Devudu Chesina Manushulu. He mentioned that he acted in the advertisement at the request of a Mumbai-based company. However, respecting public sentiment, he removed the ad and expressed heartfelt apologies to anyone who felt hurt by it.
