Ajith Kumar Applauds Tamil Nadu’s Plans for Olympic and Motorsport Cities

Actor and motorsport enthusiast Ajith Kumar has expressed his appreciation for the Tamil Nadu government’s plans to strengthen sports infrastructure in the state. He thanked Chief Minister Vijay for announcing plans to establish an advanced Olympic City and a dedicated Motorsport City in Chennai. Ajith said such initiatives would encourage young people to pursue sports and help nurture sporting talent.

Referring to his own association with motorsport, Ajith said the government’s initiative could become a significant step forward for Indian motorsport. He also wished Vijay success in his efforts, particularly in achieving the government’s goals for the sports sector. The proposed Olympic City, to be developed under the Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority, is expected to feature international-standard sporting venues, advanced training equipment, high-performance training centres and facilities for sports science and sports medicine. Ajith is known for his passion for racing and has previously announced the Ajith Kumar Racing team.
