Adivi Sesh’s much-anticipated Pan-India film Dacoit will no longer hit theaters on its original release date of December 25th. The delay comes as Sesh continues to recover from a leg injury, which has affected the shooting schedule.
A crucial, high-octane action sequence that requires peak physical performance is still pending. In the interest of the actor’s safety and the film’s overall quality, the team has decided to postpone the release. This pivotal sequence will be filmed once Sesh is fully fit. The new release date will be announced soon.
Dacoit marks the directorial debut of Shaniel Deo and is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and Suniel Narang under the Annapurna Studios banner. The film, a gripping revenge drama with a unique love story at its core, stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap will play a key role as Inspector Swamy.
