

The Movie Artistes Association (MAA), under the leadership of its President Manchu Vishnu, has released an official statement stating that actor Sivaji has tendered an apology for his remarks made at the Dandora movie pre-release event. The association said Sivaji expressed regret over the words he used while speaking on the issue of heroines’ safety, acknowledging that although his intention was good, his choice of words was inappropriate.
In his apology message, Sivaji stated that he regards women as Maha Shakti and always holds them in the highest respect. He admitted that the words he used were wrong and sincerely apologized if they caused hurt to anyone. Accepting his apology, the Movie Artistes Association, President Manchu Vishnu announced that the matter has been addressed and the issue is now considered closed.
