Riding high on the success of ‘Dragon’, actress Kayadu Lohar is currently busy with a series of major projects. Her recent film ‘I’m Game’ has hit theatres, while she will be seen as Subbalakshmi in Nani’s upcoming Telugu film ‘The Paradise’. She has also been cast as the female lead in Kollywood star Suriya’s 48th film, creating considerable buzz. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the prestigious project recently began shooting. Kayadu revealed that she initially felt extremely nervous on the sets because she was acting alongside an actor as accomplished as Suriya. She said she had only about five minutes to think about how to perform a scene, which put her under immense pressure.
Kayadu initially thought the pressure was simply because she was getting into a new character, but she said the nervousness remained even after four days of shooting. She is now trying to stay calm and focus on doing complete justice to her role. She also said it is difficult to take one’s eyes off Suriya when he is on screen, and that she is trying to give her best in a healthy competitive environment alongside him. Produced by Hombale Films, the film features Sanjay Dutt, Yogi Babu and Kumaravel in key roles, with Sai Abhyankkar composing the music. The shoot is currently progressing at a brisk pace.
