Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut shared a video of herself preparing a special bhog at her home in Manali on the occasion of Janmashtami. A social media user, however, questioned why she was cooking in a darkened pan without lighting the gas stove. Kangana responded sharply, explaining that it was not halwa and that bhog preparation involves making several ingredients separately before combining them at a later stage. She sarcastically suggested that people unfamiliar with cooking should focus on eating rather than commenting on the process.
Kangana has also remained in the spotlight over some of her recent remarks. Her comments about young Hindu women drew criticism from yoga guru Swami Ramdev, leading to a public exchange between the two. However, the dispute appeared to end around Raksha Bandhan, with Kangana acknowledging Ramdev’s gesture and saying she accepted the sweets and affection sent by him. Kangana had also previously criticised actress Kriti Sanon over a viral advertisement.
