“A Beautiful Breakup” Set for a Grand Worldwide Theatrical Release

“A Beautiful Breakup,” an English feature film starring Taksh and Matilda in the lead roles, is a trend-setting romantic horror thriller. Written and directed by the talented Ajith Vasan Uggina, the film is produced by 5 Natures Movies International and presented by Mudragada Rangarao and Uggina Satyanarayana Rao. Targeting a global audience, the film has been made entirely in English and is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on the 13th of this month. An exclusive premiere will be held in Dubai on the 12th ahead of its release. Following the English version, the makers plan to dub and release the film in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Director Ajith Vasan Uggina stated that music is the film’s greatest strength, with legendary composer Maestro Ilaiyaraaja elevating the project through his orchestral score, adding soul, emotion and timeless cinematic grandeur. He explained that the film is built around a deeply human concept that a couple can part ways happily without hatred and this idea forms the emotional core of the horror thriller.

Speaking about the film, lead actor Taksh shared that a major portion of the shooting took place in a serene estate in the forest region of Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka. The mist-filled natural surroundings provided the film with a haunting yet visually beautiful atmosphere. He highlighted cinematography as a major asset, praising Director of Photography Gunasekaran for crafting stunning visuals that impressed even Western audiences. Maestro Ilaiyaraaja composed the background score using a full symphony orchestra along with the internationally renowned Budapest Orchestra, which significantly enhanced the film’s romantic and supernatural layers. The film underwent color grading in the UK to achieve a Hollywood-level finish. Editor Srikanth and sound designer Rajan contributed significantly, adding emotional depth and immersive quality to the narrative. Taksh emphasized that this is not a conventional horror film, as the supernatural element is portrayed as a sacred spirit rather than a terrifying entity. The story is inspired by a real-life incident from a close friend’s life, blended creatively with fiction.

Taksh expressed heartfelt gratitude to Executive Producer Ravi Barnabas for his constant guidance throughout the journey, and to Dubai Chowdhary for steering the project toward a strong release plan.
