The ongoing percentage revenue-sharing dispute between Tollywood producers and exhibitors has taken a new turn. Top producers are reportedly demanding exemption for big-budget films from the proposed percentage system planned for single-screen theatres.
According to trade reports, a list of 17 major projects including Peddi, Varanasi, Spirit, Vishwambhara, and Kalki 2898 AD Part-2 has now become a hot topic in the industry.
