

Director Sandeep Raj, a National Award winner, is back with his latest film “Mowgli,” starring Roshan Kanakala. Produced jointly by TG Vishwaprasad and Kruthi Prasad under the Peoples Media Factory banner, the movie is set to release on December 12. Sandeep Raj revealed that the film is designed to appeal to audiences of all age groups, blending humor, strong character arcs, and emotional storytelling. While the director himself does not act in this film, he emphasized how carefully he approached the project after a five-year gap, ensuring every aspect—from casting to direction—was meticulously executed. The story is original, with a unique first half that is funny and engaging, keeping viewers entertained throughout.
Sandeep Raj also shared insights about the film’s characters, highlighting the powerful and impactful villain role played by Bandi Saroj, which he believes Telugu audiences have not seen in recent years. The film features five songs covering various themes, and actor Roshan put in significant effort both physically and emotionally to bring his role to life. The director praised the support from producers and the entire team, noting that “Mowgli” presents a strong philosophical message while remaining entertaining. He hinted that the movie delivers an immersive experience with multiple emotions and a big twist at the end, making it a film that everyone—from families to youth—will enjoy.
