Expert Advice on the Health Benefits of Nalleru Pickle

Nalleru pickle is a traditional recipe that has been popular for generations due to its unique taste and medicinal properties. The pickle is prepared using nalleru stems, green chillies, garlic, onion, tamarind, chilli powder, salt, oil, mustard seeds, dry chillies, and curry leaves. The nalleru stems are cleaned, peeled to remove the fibre, cut into pieces, and roasted before preparing the pickle.

For preparation, roasted green chillies, garlic, and nalleru stems are ground together and mixed with spices. A final tempering of mustard seeds, dry chillies, and curry leaves enhances the flavour. Nalleru pickle is traditionally believed to support bone health, but people with existing health conditions should consult a doctor before consuming it.
