Will Sukumar End His 20-Year Musical Partnership?

Director Sukumar and music composer Devi Sri Prasad have delivered several blockbuster albums together, beginning with Arya and continuing through Jagadam, Arya 2, 100% Love, 1: Nenokkadine, Nannaku Prematho, Rangasthalam, Pushpa, and Pushpa 2. Their successful collaboration has become one of Telugu cinema’s most celebrated combinations. However, fresh reports suggest that Sukumar may consider a different composer for his upcoming film RC17 starring Ram Charan. Though the production team has not made any official announcement, industry rumours claim that creative differences during the making of Pushpa 2 have sparked speculation about a possible change.

Several names, including Shashwat Sachdev, Harshavardhan Rameshwar, and Sai Abhyankkar, are reportedly being considered for the project. At the same time, another section of the industry believes Sukumar is unlikely to part ways with Devi Sri Prasad after a successful partnership spanning two decades. Since RC17 is currently in the scripting and pre-production stage, the makers are yet to confirm the music director. Fans will have to wait for an official announcement to know whether the iconic Sukumar-DSP combination will continue.
