The legendary “Baahubali” series, which created a new chapter in Indian cinema history, is all set to return to the big screens once again. Directed by visionary filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli, both Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion have been combined into a single film titled “Baahubali: The Epic”, which is slated for re-release on October 31, 2025.
This new version has been specially re-edited into a compact 3-hour-43-minute runtime, offering audiences a grand cinematic experience. Advance bookings in countries like the USA, UK, and UAE are already running houseful, and trade analysts predict that the film could collect over ₹8.5 crore worldwide on its opening day. Following this re-release success, reports suggest that director Sukumar is planning a similar experiment. His films Pushpa: The Rise and Pushpa 2: The Rule became massive blockbusters across India, with the sequel alone grossing over ₹1,800 crore worldwide.
Now, Sukumar is reportedly planning to combine both parts into one special version titled “Pushpa – The Epic Rule”. The film is expected to be trimmed to a 3-hour-30-minute runtime and released globally. If this plan materializes, Pushpa Raj is likely to rule the box office once again, say Tollywood insiders.
