What’s Really Happening with ‘VVAN’?

An interesting update has emerged regarding ‘VVAN – Force of the Forest’, a folk thriller starring Tamannaah Bhatia and Sidharth Malhotra. Directed by Arunabh Kumar and Deepak Kumar Mishra, the film is jointly produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and The Viral Fever. The movie was originally scheduled to release on May 15 but was later postponed to September 25. However, reports now suggest that the film will not arrive in theatres on the revised date either.

According to reports from film industry sources, creative differences have reportedly emerged behind the scenes, prompting the makers to undertake extensive reshoots and re-editing. The editing team has reportedly been removed, while TVF and director Deepak Kumar Mishra are also said to have exited the project. Neeraj Kothari and Sahir Raza are reportedly overseeing the remaining production and editing work. Sidharth Malhotra is also expected to participate in another 17 days of reshoots to complete the film. As a result, the movie is unlikely to release on September 25 as previously planned.
