Power Star Pawan Kalyan has now completed all the projects he had previously committed to. At the moment, he hasn’t officially signed any new films. However, the actor-politician hasn’t completely shut the door on cinema — he is open to doing projects that won’t interfere with his political responsibilities.
Since his current schedule is packed with administrative and political duties, films that require extensive outdoor shoots or long working days might not be feasible for him right now.
According to reports, director Surender Reddy and writer Vakkantham Vamsi have prepared two strong stories specifically keeping Pawan Kalyan in mind. The duo has been waiting for a long time to collaborate with him. The project will reportedly be backed by producer Ram Talluri.
At present, Ram Talluri is busy managing Janasena Party’s official programs, but sources say both Surender Reddy and Vakkantham Vamsi have fine-tuned two exciting scripts and are now ready to narrate them to Pawan Kalyan.
It all depends on when Pawan listens to the stories and gives his approval. If all goes well, the film might go on floors by mid or late 2026.
Right now, Pawan Kalyan is completely occupied with his ministerial duties and is said to be devoting full attention to the work of his departments — far more seriously than during the initial weeks after assuming office. Hence, it might take six months to a year before he gives a green signal to any new film project.
