Two Heroines in Simbu’s STR-51?

Kollywood star Simbu, also known as STR, is currently working on several interesting projects. His upcoming prestigious film Arasan, directed by Vetri Maaran, is progressing at a brisk pace. The action drama features Priyanka Mohan, Andrea Jeremiah, Samuthirakani and Vijay Sethupathi in important roles. The makers are reportedly planning to release the film worldwide as a Diwali special this year.

Meanwhile, Simbu has already lined up his next project with director Ashwath Marimuthu, known for Oh My Kadavule and Dragon. Tentatively titled STR-51, the film is expected to begin production early next year, with the script work reportedly completed. According to the latest social media buzz, Telugu actress and former Miss Universe India Manasa Varanasi is being considered as the female lead. There is also speculation that Riya Simbu may appear in an important role. However, an official confirmation from the makers is awaited.
