Natural Star Nani is racing ahead with back-to-back films. He is currently working on The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela. Set against an underworld backdrop, the film is being crafted as a high-voltage action entertainer, with Collection King Mohan Babu set to appear in a powerful antagonist role. The movie is gearing up for a grand Pan-India release on August 21 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi, along with Spanish and English versions. After films like Dasara and HIT 3, Nani is taking another decisive step toward establishing himself as a full-fledged mass hero with this project. However, certain dialogues featured in the glimpse drew trolling on social media. Despite the potential risk of distancing family audiences, Nani appears willing to take that chance in pursuit of a stronger mass image.
Irrespective of the result of The Paradise, Nani is reportedly determined to continue focusing on action-driven cinema. In line with this direction, he is set to collaborate with director Sujeeth, who delivered a hit with Power Star Pawan Kalyan through OG. This marks Nani’s 34th film, which was formally launched during last year’s Vijayadashami celebrations. The film is being produced on a lavish scale by Venkat Boyanapalli under the banners of Niharika Entertainment and Anonymous Productions. According to Tollywood sources, the project will blend action, emotion and comedy. It remains unclear whether the film will be part of Sujeeth’s cinematic universe. Industry buzz suggests that Sujeeth is planning to present Nani in a stylish and completely new avatar.
Meanwhile, there is growing curiosity surrounding the film’s casting. Reports indicate that Triptii Dimri, who gained recognition through Animal and Spirit, has been roped in as the female lead opposite Nani. Additionally, veteran actress Madhuri Dixit, popularly known as the dream girl of the 1990s, is said to have been approached for a key role possibly as Nani’s mother or another pivotal character. Having never acted in a Telugu film before, Madhuri’s potential debut in the industry during her second innings would undoubtedly become a major talking point. These casting choices are reportedly part of a strategy to attract Pan-India audiences, particularly in the Hindi market. However, an official announcement is still awaited.
