Srinivasa Mangapuram Eyes New Release Date

Ghatamaneni Jayakrishna, the latest entrant from the Ghatamaneni family, is all set to make his acting debut with Srinivasa Mangapuram. The film is directed by Ajay Bhupathi, known for RX 100 and Mangalavaaram, and is being produced under the Chandamama Kathalu Pictures banner with presentation by Vyjayanthi Movies. Bollywood actress Rasha Thadani is making her Telugu debut as the female lead. The film was earlier scheduled for a theatrical release on July 9.

However, industry reports now suggest that the release may be postponed. With Akhil Akkineni’s Lenin slated to hit theatres on July 10, the makers are reportedly considering avoiding a direct box-office clash. According to the buzz, Srinivasa Mangapuram is likely to be rescheduled for a July 30 release. An official announcement regarding the revised release date is expected soon.
