Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan and Sivakarthikeyan’s Parasakthi are two of Tamil cinema’s biggest upcoming releases, set to clash at the box office during the 2026 Pongal festival season. However, even before the films hit theatres, a social media storm has already begun!
Recently, the makers of Parasakthi took to social media to celebrate their first single Adi Alaye crossing 15 million views on YouTube. Their post read,
“#Parasakthi First Single crossed 15 Million+ ORGANIC Views on YouTube. IYKYK.”
The use of the phrase “organic views” and “IYKYK (If You Know, You Know)” has caught everyone’s attention, with many fans speculating that it’s a subtle dig at Vijay’s Jana Nayagan.
For context, Vijay’s Thalapathy Kacheri song from Jana Nayagan reportedly garnered over 35 million views in just three days, leading some to believe Parasakthi’s post hinted that those numbers might not be completely organic.
Netizens are divided — while some call it an intentional jab, others think it’s harmless promotion. Still, many feel such statements only add fuel to the ongoing fan wars between Sivakarthikeyan and Vijay’s supporters.
Ironically, Sivakarthikeyan himself has openly expressed admiration for Vijay in the past, making this social media tension seem unnecessary.
