Sivakarthikeyan’s recent interaction with his fans in Chennai has triggered fresh speculation about the Tamil actor’s possible entry into Tamil Nadu politics. The fan meet was held on Sunday at Porur, where around 3,000 fans and fan association office-bearers reportedly attended. Addressing them, Sivakarthikeyan described himself as a “people-made star” and credited his fans for his journey in the film industry. He urged them to remain focused on their goals, ignore criticism and stay united with love and mutual respect.
Sivakarthikeyan also spoke to students who attended the gathering, encouraging them to study well, build a successful career and give priority to their families. He said education can broaden one’s thinking and also help people reduce their dependence on social media. The meeting comes at a time when fan gatherings involving Tamil film personalities are drawing increased attention amid political developments in the state. Actors Dhanush and Vishal have also recently interacted with their fans and spoken about contributing to public service, while choreographer-director-actor Raghava Lawrence has already expressed his willingness to enter politics.
