Tamil actor Simbu continues to work on films without worrying about hits or flops. However, it has been a long time since he delivered a proper success. He also slowed down his film pace for a while. Recently, he acted in a film directed by Mani Ratnam, but it failed to impress the audience. At present, Simbu is busy working on the movie “Arasan”, directed by Vetrimaaran, which is based on a gangster story set in North Chennai.
Now, reports suggest that Simbu is getting ready for another new project. Director Ashwath Marimuthu, who made his debut with “Oh My Kadavule” and gained huge success with “Dragon”, is likely to direct this film. The movie is expected to be produced by AGS Entertainment. Comedian Santhanam is also said to be playing an important role, marking a reunion with Simbu after a long gap.
There is also buzz that “Kantara” fame Rukmini Vasanth might be chosen as the female lead in this film. An official announcement regarding the project is expected soon. The makers are planning to make this a big-budget film and the title “God Love” is being considered.
