Shocking Price for ‘Love & War’ Theatrical Rights?

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, the period action drama ‘Love & War’ has created significant buzz. The film’s theatrical rights business has now become a talking point. According to reports, Pen Marudhar has acquired the theatrical rights for around Rs 300 crore. Several companies reportedly competed for the rights, with the deal said to have gone to the company that offered Bhansali the highest bid.

‘Love & War’ is scheduled to hit theatres on January 21, 2027. The first-look posters released recently received a positive response. Bhansali is reportedly planning to release the film’s teaser during Diwali. There is also speculation that the teaser could be screened in theatres along with prints of ‘Ramayana’. This has further raised curiosity around both the film and its upcoming teaser.
