Director Sreenu Vaitla and actor Sharwanand are teaming up for the upcoming film ‘George Krish’, and the project has now entered an important phase of production. The shoot is said to have commenced last Friday, with the makers planning an intensive 30-day schedule. The team is reportedly aiming to complete the shooting and post-production work at a brisk pace, with plans to bring the film to theatres during the Sankranti festive season. Sharwanand is also said to have allotted his dates to accommodate the lengthy schedule, during which several key sequences and important portions of the story will be filmed.
Bhagyashri Borse is reportedly playing the female lead in the film. The story is said to revolve around the consequences faced by the protagonist after an impulsive act committed at a young age. Sreenu Vaitla is expected to present the subject in his trademark style, blending the story with his distinctive entertainment elements. Following the underwhelming response to his previous film ‘Viswam’, the director is reportedly focusing heavily on ‘George Krish’ and hopes the project will mark a strong comeback. The team is working towards completing the film in time for its targeted Sankranti release.
