Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej’s ambitious period action drama Sambarala Yetigattu is generating considerable buzz ahead of its release. Directed by Rohith KP and produced by K. Niranjan Reddy under the PrimeShow Entertainment banner, the film is being mounted on a reported budget of more than ₹120 crore. The makers had initially considered a December 2026 release, but are now reportedly exploring the Sankranti 2027 window, believing that the festive season could offer the film a stronger theatrical advantage. Following the success of the production house’s HanuMan, which released on January 12, the team is said to be considering the same date for Sambarala Yetigattu in 2027.
The film is being planned as a pan-India release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. Aishwarya Lekshmi plays the female lead, while Jagapathi Babu, Sai Kumar, Srikanth and Ananya Nagalla are set to appear in key roles. Production is progressing on a large scale, with the period setting being recreated in accordance with the story. Although the film could face competition from other major Sankranti releases, the makers are reportedly confident about its appeal. However, January 12, 2027 has not been officially announced as the release date yet, and an official confirmation is awaited.
