Tanuja remained one of the strongest contenders from the very beginning of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9. Social media buzz and consistent voting trends suggested that she would emerge as the winner, making many believe that this season would finally see a female champion. The finale, however, turned out to be a nail-biting affair.

Despite spending nearly 15 weeks inside the Bigg Boss house, emotional moments, frequent arguments, and breakdowns may have impacted her final chances. Reports suggest that Tanuja earned approximately ₹2.5 lakh per week, taking her total earnings from the show to around ₹37.5 lakh.
