Rasha Thadani’s ‘Laikey Laikaa’ Postponed?

Young actress Rasha Thadani, who made her Bollywood debut with Azaad, has also appeared in the Telugu film Srinivasa Mangapuram. Although the film did not perform as expected at the box office, Rasha’s popularity has remained strong. She is currently starring opposite Abhay Verma in the romantic action drama Laikey Laikaa, directed by Saurabh Gupta. The film revolves around themes of love, pain and trust. Originally planned for a summer release this year, the movie is now reportedly being postponed to February 2027 due to reshoots and additional production work.

Rasha gained widespread popularity with her dance performance in the song ‘Ui Amma’ from Azaad. Since her character in Laikey Laikaa is also a dancer, the makers are reportedly planning a special dance number tailored to her image and performance style. The film’s release is said to have been pushed back to accommodate the shoot of this new song. According to reports, the team is now planning to bring the intense romantic drama to theatres in February 2027, around Valentine’s Day.
