'Ramayana' 3D Trailer Likely to Hit Theatres Before Digital Release

The media and celebrity preview of Ramayana held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi has generated tremendous excitement ahead of the film's release. Attendees praised the film's grand visual scale, with Yash's portrayal of Ravana in the 3D trailer emerging as one of the biggest highlights. The trailer is scheduled for its official digital release on July 24, 2026, but industry reports indicate that the makers are considering a theatrical rollout in select 3D and IMAX screens before its online debut.

Fueling the speculation, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has reportedly certified a special four-minute version titled "Theatrical Trailer – Ramayana 3D," suggesting that a big-screen release could be imminent. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the epic stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal, Ravie Dubey and Kunal Kapoor. Produced by Prime Focus Studios in association with Monster Mind Creations, the film features visual effects by Oscar-winning studio DNEG and is slated for a grand theatrical release this Diwali.
