Rajamouli Sets a Deadline for Varanasi Shoot

Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated project Varanasi has created significant buzz across the country. The film is being mounted on a grand scale, with the makers reportedly focusing on international-level production values and large-scale adventure sequences.

According to industry reports, Rajamouli is targeting October to complete the entire shoot. The plan is said to be aimed at giving the post-production team sufficient time to work on visual effects and other technical aspects. Varanasi has already been announced for a worldwide theatrical release on April 7, 2027. The film marks Rajamouli’s first collaboration with Mahesh Babu, further raising expectations.
