Producer Gives Major Update on ‘Drishyam 4’

The ‘Drishyam’ franchise, which began in 2013 with Mohanlal and director Jeethu Joseph, has established itself as one of Malayalam cinema’s popular thriller franchises. Now, reports suggest that the story could continue with a fourth installment. Producer Antony Perumbavoor reportedly confirmed the possibility of ‘Drishyam 4’ at the Mazhavil Manorama Awards, stating that the sequel will definitely happen. However, Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph have not officially commented on the update yet.

The recently released ‘Drishyam 3’, starring Mohanlal and Meena, took Georgekutty’s story in a new direction. Released on May 21, the film reportedly left room for the story to continue rather than providing a complete conclusion. The unresolved storyline involving Siddique and Asha Sharath’s characters, who seek revenge for their son’s death, has further fueled curiosity about a possible fourth installment.
