Prabhas’ period action drama Fauzi is generating fresh buzz over a possible change in its theatrical release schedule. According to industry reports, the film, which was earlier expected to arrive in December, is now being planned for release on March 18, 2027. The production team is reportedly working to complete the remaining portions, including two major action sequences, by December.
The film is currently shooting an interval fight sequence on a temple set, while the climax schedule is reportedly set to begin on November 15. Prabhas is expected to complete his talkie portions by the first week of December before moving on to a two-month location schedule for Spirit. The makers are also said to be considering a special glimpse or teaser for Prabhas’ birthday on October 23 to kick-start promotions. Reports further claim that Prabhas has performed stunts without a body double in Fauzi. However, the March release date remains unconfirmed, and if Fauzi occupies that slot, Spirit’s reported March 5 release may also need to be rescheduled.
