The much-anticipated sequel to Pawan Kalyan's action entertainer OG is reportedly moving ahead, with industry buzz suggesting that director Sujeeth has completed and locked the script. The makers are said to have designed the sequel on a much grander scale, adding more high-octane action sequences and an engaging storyline while building on the success of the first installment. Although there has been no official confirmation, reports indicate that Pawan Kalyan is pleased with the script and is keen to take the project forward.
However, the film's production is expected to begin only after Summer 2027, owing to Pawan Kalyan's busy political and personal commitments. In the meantime, Sujeeth is reportedly focusing on completing his film Bloody Romeo starring Nani before shifting his attention to OG 2. Meanwhile, the project announced in collaboration with director Surender Reddy is believed to be on hold, with the script reportedly undergoing revisions based on Pawan Kalyan's suggestions. Fans are also expecting a special update on OG 2 around the actor's birthday in September.
