Naga Chaitanya is currently busy with the big-budget film ‘Vrushakarma’, directed by Karthik Dandu. Made with a budget of around Rs. 100 crores, the film is expected to release in summer or post-summer. Once this project is completed, Naga Chaitanya is likely to be free in the next two to three months and discussions about his next film have already started in the industry.
In recent years, Naga Chaitanya has focused more on love stories, different concepts and even a mystic thriller. It has been a long time since he did a full-fledged mass entertainer. Now, reports suggest that he is keen on doing a proper mass film and for this, the name of mass director Harish Shankar is being strongly discussed. Harish Shankar is currently busy with his film ‘Ustaad Bhagath Singh’, which is expected to release by the end of March.
After the release of ‘Ustaad Bhagath Singh’, there is a strong possibility that the Naga Chaitanya – Harish Shankar combination may take shape. After ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’ with NTR, this could be Harish Shankar’s next film with a young hero. At the same time, this would mark Naga Chaitanya’s return to a full mass film with a proven mass director, making the combo quite interesting.
