A project featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Vivek Athreya has once again become a hot topic in Tollywood. Earlier reports suggested that Mythri Movie Makers was planning to bankroll the ambitious venture, with Vivek Athreya aiming to present Balakrishna in a completely new avatar. Industry buzz also indicated that the film was being considered as a two-part project, requiring a substantial budget.

However, reports later claimed that the project had been put on hold due to budget concerns, leading to speculation that Vivek Athreya was exploring other options, including a potential film with Ravi Teja. Amid these rumours, fresh reports now suggest that Vivek Athreya recently narrated a story idea to Balakrishna, which reportedly impressed the actor. Sources indicate that Balakrishna asked the director to develop the complete script, following which pre-production work is said to have begun. If all goes as planned, the project may soon be officially announced under the Mythri Movie Makers banner.
